A field full of joy, all year long.
Dirt & Grit Farm is a family-run u-pick flower farm rooted in faith, hard work, and a love of the land. What started with a dream and a few tulip bulbs has grown into a year-round destination for families to connect with nature and each other.
From the first tulips of spring to the golden sunflowers of summer and the crisp harvest of fall, we invite you to experience the grit and the beauty of farm life.
"You can grow anything with a little bit of grit."
We're not just a flower farm. We're a full day out — animals to meet, activities for kids of every age, food truck bites, and rows upon rows of color to walk through with the people you love.
Our StoryA farm for every season.
Come pick, play, and make memories in any weather.
Spring
Over 80,000 Dutch tulips and 5,000 daffodils in a rainbow of colors. Our biggest event of the year.
Summer
Dahlias, zinnias, cosmos and sunflowers. Perfect for summer bouquets and golden hour photos.
Fall
Crisp air, pumpkin picking, and fall activities for the whole family as the leaves turn.
Winter
The farm rests, but we're still here with winter workshops, wreath making, and baby animals to meet.
More than flowers.
A day full of memories.
Whether you're here for the first blooms of spring or the harvest of fall, there's always a full day of fun waiting for you at Dirt & Grit.
From 80,000 tulips in the spring to fields of sunflowers, zinnias, and dahlias in the summer, our u-pick fields are the heart of the farm. Grab a bucket and wander the rows.
Jump pads, a dig yard, sound garden, bubble station, and yard games keep the little ones busy while everyone soaks in the views.
We host rotating food trucks and vendors throughout the season. Check our social media for the weekly food truck schedule before your visit.
They can't wait
to meet you.
Our animal residents are part of what makes Dirt & Grit feel like home. Sweet, gentle, and always happy to say hello.

Dirt & Grit means
what it says.
We didn't build this farm because it was easy. We built it because we believed beauty is worth working for — that the mud on your boots and the ache in your back at the end of the day means something. "Dirt" is the earth we tend. "Grit" is the faith that keeps us at it — through every seed planted, every field cultivated, every animal fed, and through every season that asks more of us than the last.
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. — Galatians 6:9"
Every spring the fields come alive and prove that verse true. We plant and tend and raise and show up as a promise — to the land, to our family, and to every family that walks through our gate. May you leave here carrying proof that the most beautiful things grow through the hardest seasons.
We'll see you
in the fields.

Everything you need to know before your visit.
All of our tulip bulbs are imported directly from the Netherlands — the gold standard of tulip growing. That's how we're able to offer such a stunning variety of colors and forms.
Our regular season opens March 10th, but we are holding Pre-Season U-Pick days March 7th–9th while the flowers last. The season can be rather short depending on the weather and the amount of flowers sold. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for daily field updates and real-time announcements.
We don't allow pets due to liability concerns (and our resident animals appreciate it!). Valid service animals are always welcome.
We've got scissors and buckets covered, plus water on-site. We'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes you don't mind getting dirty — the parking fields can get muddy. Dress for the weather!
General admission tickets are available at the gate — no reservation needed. Online ticket packages (including Early Access) are available on our website. All sales are final and non-refundable.
Yes! The farm is accessible, though there is some gravel walking from parking and the ground between beds can be soft or uneven. Most visitors with strollers and wheelchairs find the experience very workable.
